What are the responsibilities and job description for the Phlebotomist position at Mankato Clinic?
Part-time, 60 hours/pp
Shifts vary and are flexible - daytime hours 10:30am-5:00pm and some shifts will include evenings 11:30am-8:00pm. (based on coverage needed in the department). Every 4th weekend: Saturday 8:00am-5:00pm & Sunday 11:00am-5:00pm
The Phlebotomist is responsible for daily drawing room procedures, EKGs, some clerical duties, replenishing supplies for the drawing stations and assist in keeping patient care areas clean and neat.
Requirements:
- Phlebotomist or Medical Assistant
- Venipuncture technique with one to two years of experience preferred;
- Client service, teamwork, and communication skills.
Employment is contingent on successful completion of drug screen, health assessment, and background check.
Benefits & Compensation:
Base Pay Range: $17.70-$24.80, initial pay based on relevant work experience.
