The Human Resources Coordinator aids with and facilitates the human resource processes for Manko Window Systems, Inc. onsite in Des Moines, IA. This role provides administrative support to the human resource department as needed, including record-keeping, file maintenance, payroll processes, employee relations and data entry. This position is a full-time non-exempt position, reporting directly to the Human Resource Director and Branch Manager.

Duties/Responsibilities:
· Ensures applicable Federal, State, and other regulatory agency interests are adhered to
· Upholds the Manko Window Systems Employee Handbook and all policies within it
· Completes weekly payroll in conjunction with headquarters location
· Facilitates and implements all phases of the recruitment, on boarding, and off boarding processes as directed
· Maintain employee records and all required documentation
· Utilize company HR Software systems to maintain employee data
· Coordinate and oversees safety programs, such as safety meetings, drug testing, forklift, crane training, and incident reporting
· Address employee inquiries or concerns and maintain company programs such as referral and boot voucher programs
· Assist with employee relations such as employee coaching and benefit enrollment
· Coordinate with various departments through the greater Manko organization
· Performs other duties as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities:
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles
· Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
· Working understanding human resource principles, practices and procedures, and laws
· Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
· Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
· Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
Education and Experience:
· Associate’s degree in human resources or related field and/or equivalent experience
· At least two years related experience required
· Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field, or HR credential preferred
Physical Requirements:
· Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
· Must be able to lift to 20 pounds at times
