Summary
The Production Coordinator will plan, schedule, implement, and monitor production activities, ensuring contract requirements, material inventory requirements, product specifications, and deadlines are met. This position is a full time, non-exempt position located at Manko Window Systems, Inc. – KS, reporting directly to the Paint & Metal Production Manager.
Duties/Responsibilities:
· Support Production Manager & department with daily inventory control
· Manage annual inventory, counting, and inventory labeling system
· Assist in production and supply chain workflow for one or multiple products
· Communicate with vendors for materials and quantity purchase orders
· Oversee rack location and check in materials for paint and metal departments
· Plan and prioritize operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delays
· Address issues when they arise aiming for minimum disruption.
· Obtain output information (number of finished products, percentage of defectives etc.)
· Keep paperwork organized
· Collaborate with quality control, warehouse and other staff
· Planning, scheduling, and performing production activities, and ensuring that the production process is cost-effective and economical
· Identifies, acquires, and ensures the availability of materials and supplies
· Coordinate with transportation delivery of products and materials inbound and out
· Performs other related duties as assigned
Required Skills and Experience:

· At least two years of experience in related disciplines including supply chain, logistics, production, or assembly work, required
Physical Requirements:
· Prolonged periods working on feet, using tools, and performing repetitive actions that entail frequent bending and stooping
· Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
· Must be able to lift 80 pounds, push or pull up to 75 pounds, climb, crawl, squat, and kneel
· Ability to bend, stretch, push, pull, and move as needed to reach, clean, and service machinery
· Visual ability to read instructions, write, operate machines, and inspect parts/machines.
