Job Description
Overview :
Manna Tree is seeking a highly motivated, experienced Accountant with 2-3 years of post-undergraduate experience, preferably in private equity or financial services, to play a key role in growing our Operations team. The ideal candidate will have experience with management company reporting, excel, account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, internal control maintenance, and working with auditors. The position will be a remote based position, but proximity to Denver or the surrounding area is highly preferred for team-building and professional development purposes. The accountant will be working directly with the Director of Finance & Accounting, as well as with the Senior Fund Accountant.
Responsibilities :
- Work with external fund administrator to ensure accurate quarterly reporting on all General Partner (GP) entities and operating companies, including waterfalls and capital account allocations.
- Support in the completion of various regulatory reporting.
- Prepare day-to-day accounting for the Management Company, including but not limited to accounts payable and accounts receivable processing.
- Record daily cash transactions, prepare daily cash reconciliations, and report balances to key decision makers.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly reporting for GP and Management Company entities, using Operating Company accounting when applicable.
- Assist with continuous accounting software process improvements and utilization.
- Interact with external auditors and tax groups and provide information in a timely manner.
- Support the firm in Compliance requirements.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the Director of Finance & Accounting and management.
