Manning Personnel Group is partnering with a Manufacturing & Distribution firm seeking an exceptional candidate for a Senior Accountant. In this role you are responsible for the monthly close process as well as assisting with the monthly financial reporting. You will also be responsible for the preparation and review of balance sheet reconciliations and other general ledger related tasks. The successful candidate will have a desire and ability to work in small manage and execute the entire range of tasks required to support the Company's financial functions. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare journal entries and perform month end close procedures.
- Help with financial statement consolidation between various business units in various geographic regions.
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts including: AR, AP, Inventory, Fixed Assets, various accruals.
- Process daily sales invoices.
- Assist in maintaining internal controls and developing new processes.
- Comply with sales and use tax.
- Process employee expense reports.
- Oversee inventory accuracy, including cycle counts and full inventory analysis.
- Assist in lease management and processing tenant rent. Processing various vendor claims.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
- Participate in annual review with external accountants.
- Cross Train on multiple team members tasks: Cash Receipts, Collections, and Matching inventory receipts to vendor invoices.
- Provide support to other departments as needed for financial reporting and analysis.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA is highly preferred
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize and handle multiple tasks
- Collaborative business partner adept in building cross-functional relationships to drive business results.

Salary : $75,000 - $95,000
