Job description
Manor on the Hill, an Assisted Living and Memory Care facility is looking for an Activity Assistant! We have a Part-time opportunity for an energetic activity professional to help us meet our residents' social, emotional and intellectual goals. The ideal candidate will be outgoing, and will enjoy running programs and activities with seniors.
Responsibilities:
- The candidate will work under the Activity Director and contributes to the implementation of activity programs for the residents of the facility.
- Engage the residents in daily activities to encourage them to participate.
- Set up areas as needed for the activity planned.
- Assist with transports of Residents to and from activity area.
- Help maintain a pleasant and cheerful community involvement.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.50-$16.50 per hour
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated passion to serve seniors.
- Energetic, pleasant and cheerful
Schedule (can be split into 2x part-time shifts): Weekends 9.30am-4.30pm, Monday 9.30am-4.30pm, Wednesday 9.30am-4.30pm, Thursday 9.30am-7pm, Friday 9.30am-4.30pm.
