What are the responsibilities and job description for the Prodction Operator 1st shift position at Manpower Augusta?
Operator Dayshift - 1. Operate production machinery or other production related functions, completes and assists other associates in die changeovers. 2. Process components as assigned and place in proper packaging as specified by customer in productions packets (tubs, skids, boxes, etc.) 3. Periodically checks for quality of product and maintains proper reports. 4. Detects and reports defective components or questionable conditions to their direct supervisor or quality associate along with aiding in troubleshooting set-up concerns or part concerns. 5. Regulates machinery by setting and adjusting controls and help define operation standards for each press set-up and die. 6. Determines sequence of operations by studying production packets, blueprints, work orders, etc. 7. Documents ad reports any issues regarding equipment. 8. Maintains a clean and orderly work area and follows prescribed safety regulations. 9. Perform duties in safe manner with attention to quality. 10. Works with new associates on developing their knowledge in metal stamping principles and past problem history. 11. Maintain responsibility for press operations in the stamping area along with management. Identify and report concerns to management immediately if a problem arises that is uncontrollable.
