Pay Rate : $16 - 21 per hour (based on experience)
Job Summary :
We are seeking a detail-oriented File Clerk to join our team on a 3-month contract with the possibility of extension. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and organizing files, inputting data, retrieving documents, and ensuring proper record-keeping. Key Responsibilities :
Assign and record identification numbers or codes for filing materials.
Gather, sort, and classify documents based on content, purpose, or other criteria.
Design and improve filing systems for efficiency.
Input and update file information in computer systems.
Maintain records of filed or removed materials, ensuring accurate tracking.
Perform general office duties, including typing, answering phones, and processing mail.
Retrieve and provide requested files to authorized personnel.
Scan, classify, and store materials in appropriate storage locations.
Eliminate outdated or unnecessary documents per legal and company guidelines.
Assist with basic financial activities like processing invoices and cash payments.
Qualifications :
- 1–2 years of experience in document management, quality control, or records management (preferred).
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in data entry and computer filing systems.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
