Our IT client is seeking for an Implementation Engineer to join their team. As an Implementation Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the planning, design, deployment, and support of Cisco-based network solutions. Your expertise in Cisco routing, switching, and security will be essential to delivering high-quality solutions that meet our clients' needs. Job Title : Implementation Engineer
Location : Remote (6 months project)
Pay Range : $50-$55 / hr W-2
Qualifications :
7 years of network engineering experience with a focus on Cisco technologies.
Demonstrable experience in the design, deployment, and troubleshooting of Cisco network solutions.
Proven track record in scoping, planning, and implementing network changes for critical locations.
Technical Skills :
Expertise in Cisco routing and switching technologies (e.g., BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) at the CCNP level
Hand-on experience with software-defined networking (SDN) and Cisco DNA Center (DNAC is a must have)
Proficiency with Cisco Catalyst devices (3K, 8K, 9K series)
Strong skills in configuring and managing Cisco wireless solutions.
Familiarity with network automation tools and scripting (e.g., Python, Ansible).
Experience in creating and editing ACLs.
Certifications :
Cisco certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent is highly desirable.
Additional certifications in network security or wireless technologies are a plus.
Soft Skills :
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Strong organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications :
Knowledge of cloud networking solutions and integrations (e.g., AWS, Azure).
Familiarity with ITIL processes and best practices.
Education :
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Equivalent work experience will be considered.
