Hiring : Sr. Project Manager | NYC, NY (Hybrid – 3x per week)
Location : NYC, NY – 10013
Duration : 10 months contract (High potential for extension / conversion)
About the Role :
As part of the Markets Program Management Team, you will be responsible for driving regulatory change initiatives, ensuring execution of deliverables across workstreams, and providing subject matter expertise. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong project management skills and experience working in Capital Markets transformation.
Key Responsibilities :
Lead transformation and change management initiatives focused on regulatory compliance in Capital Markets
Collaborate with Business, Legal, Risk, and Operations to ensure operational readiness
Manage cross-functional workstreams, ensuring on-time delivery and issue resolution
Partner with stakeholders to drive data governance, process improvements, and documentation
Analyze large datasets to support decision-making and regulatory reporting
Provide clear and concise presentations to senior leadership on project progress and key insights
Identify and mitigate project risks, escalating issues proactively
Must-Have Skills & Experience :
- 10 years in Project Management within Tier 1 banks
- Strong regulatory change management expertise (Basel, CCAR preferred)
- Experience in Capital Markets transformation and business process optimization
- Ability to analyze large datasets and drive data accuracy & governance
- Stakeholder management skills – articulate and persuasive communicator
- PMP or relevant certifications are a strong plus
