Our client, a leading financial firm, is seeking a Senior Data Engineer / Architect to join their team. As a Senior Data Engineer / Architect, you will be part of the Data Engineering department supporting cross-functional teams. Job Title : Senior Data Engineer / Architect
Location : Jersey City, NJ or Chicago, IL
Pay Range : $73 per hour on W2
What's the Job?
Lead data engineering efforts to deliver enterprise-wide capabilities and complex data solutions.
Direct code design and delivery tasks associated with the integration, cleaning, transformation, and control of data in operational and analytical data systems.
Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional and non-functional requirements.
Define and build data pipelines to enable data-informed decision making.
Mentor Data Engineers in the delivery and release of continuous integration and continuous delivery events.
What's Needed?
5 years of experience in data engineering or architecture.
Proficiency in Hadoop and Informatica Powercenter.
Deep understanding of relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).
Experience in building complex business database systems.
Strong knowledge of data management standards and best practices.
