Our client, a leader in the light industrial sector, is seeking a Production Worker to join their team. As a Production Worker, you will be part of a dynamic manufacturing environment supporting various production teams. The ideal candidate will have strong teamwork skills, effective communication abilities, and a good mechanical aptitude which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Production Worker
Location: Hoosick Falls, NY
Pay Range: $19 per hour
Shift: 2nd shift Monday- Friday 2:30pm-11pm
What's the Job?
- Run production equipment and manage the product cleaning process while moving materials efficiently.
- Take responsibility for product quality and conduct appropriate tests to make informed decisions.
- Collaborate with the team to produce the highest quality product and ensure operational efficiency.
- Inspect and maintain equipment, addressing any deficiencies immediately to uphold equipment standards.
- Control inventory of finished, scrap, and held goods, maintaining established minimum levels and reordering as necessary.
What's Needed?
- 6 Months Manufacturing Experience Required
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment with minimal supervision.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Good reasoning and mechanical aptitude.
- Familiarity with safety programs in a manufacturing facility is a plus
