THIS POSITION REQUIRED SCHEDULE IS AS FOLLOWS:

• WEDNESDAYS AND FRIDAYS FROM 7:00 AM TO 3:30 PM
• THURSDAYS FROM 12:30PM to 3:30PM

Job Details: The ideal candidate must be 100% reliable and have solid communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to read, write, and effectively communicate with customers, peers, and management. Ability to multitask, while being attentive to customers and remaining flexible to the needs of the business.

Essential Duties

• Internalize, study, and taste products to exhibit a clear, full understanding of our products.
• Accurately take, fill, and process guest orders professionally, clearly, and positively.
• Proactive and take initiative in solving problems.
• Manage retail display and condiments/supplies.
• Maintain a clean and clear work environment.
• Adhere to safety and sanitation requirements
• Effectively and efficiently take direction from the management team.
• Attend meetings, training sessions, or other special events as required by management
• Answer customer inquiries regarding menu items, products, and Manresa Bread information correctly and with a positive attitude.
• Clean, sweep, and maintain assigned stations and areas in the FOH.
• Frequently run food to the table as well as clear tables.
• Be able to attend company monthly or quarterly meetings

Work Environment

This job operates in a retail business environment. This role routinely uses standard food retail equipment such as pads, computers, phones, knives, sinks, and coffee equipment.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items that weigh more than 35 pounds. This job's specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

• The store schedule is 8 am to 3 pm. Days and hours of work vary by schedule/accommodation needs.
• Occasional evening work may be needed for meetings. Ability to work 8 hours per day.
• Ability to work federal holidays.
• Varying schedule to include early mornings, evenings, holidays, weekends, and extended hours as business dictates.

Work Location: In personResponsibilities:
- Prepare and bake a variety of bakery products, including bread, pastries, and desserts
- Follow recipes and production schedules to ensure consistent quality and quantity of baked goods
- Measure and mix ingredients, knead dough, and shape dough into desired forms
- Operate baking equipment such as ovens, mixers, and proofers
- Monitor baking process to ensure proper temperature and cooking time
- Decorate and garnish baked goods as required
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery area
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation regulations

Experience:
- Previous experience as a baker or in a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment
- Ability to read and follow recipes accurately
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management skills to meet production deadlines
- Creativity and artistic skills for decorating baked goods
