Director of Facilities
Mansfield Public Schools is seeking a Director of Facilities. This position plans, operates, maintains and oversees the buildings and grounds, mechanical and electrical systems, custodial and maintenance staff, and other related services for the district.
This position is responsible for the following:
•Oversee the planning, operation, and maintenance of all school district facilities
•Provide leadership to ensure facilities meet the changing needs of its academic, athletic, and extracurricular programs, faculty and students
•Manage the upkeep of existing facilities including capital projects
•Proactively manage utility costs and energy conservation
•Ensure a safe and secure campus environment. The Director plans, operates, maintains and oversees the buildings and grounds, mechanical and electrical systems, custodial and maintenance staff, and other related services for the District.
The Mansfield Public School District is comprised of five schools. Four of the schools are situated in a campus-like setting with the administrative offices and integrated preschool located nearby
