Certified Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Certified Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist to join our team. As a Certified Medical Assistant or Certified Phlebotomist, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and assisting healthcare professionals in a clinic setting. Duties:- Perform basic medical procedures such as taking vital signs, administering injections, venipuncture, and collecting specimens- Assist healthcare professionals with examinations, procedures, and treatments- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records- Provide patient education on various health topics- Perform medical administrative support tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and coordinating referrals- Utilize medical terminology and coding knowledge to accurately document patient information

Qualifications:- Certification as a Phlebotomy/Medical Assistant- Basic life support (BLS) certification- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology- Experience working in a hospital or similar healthcare setting is preferred- Excellent patient care skills with the ability to provide compassionate and empathetic care- Proficient in medical administrative tasks such as appointment scheduling and record management
