We're seeking a motivated Systems Engineer Test & Evaluation, Situational Awareness Boundary Enforcement & Response (SABER) to join our team in King George, VA.
The ideal candidate will provide technical services for Test and Evaluation (T&E) of navigation system software, ensuring it's protected from cyber-attack and ready for delivery to the fleet.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop test cases, scenarios, and procedures to evaluate system level requirements
- Execute test procedures, analyze data, and create trouble reports to identify and recreate problems
- Collaborate with an integrated test team and provide additional support to the customer
- Travel up to 20% to support meetings and test events at John Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory (APL) and Wallops Island, VA
Requirements:
- 3 years of experience in combat system test & evaluation
- Computer software engineering experience in test requirements definition, test plan/procedures development, maintenance, and execution
- 2 years of experience with developmental or operational systems/computer program versions in effect in the past seven years
- Solid background/understanding of system software development
