What are the responsibilities and job description for the DoD Acquisition Finance Professional position at ManTech?
ManTech seeks a seasoned financial professional to support our Marine Corps Systems Command contract in Virginia.
The ideal candidate will assume responsibility for a wide range of financial management duties on behalf of our government customer and contribute significantly to the program's financial success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain project baseline budgets, ensuring accuracy and transparency.
- Track and compare project funding execution to phasing plans, identifying and addressing any significant variances.
- Prepare and coordinate inputs for regular execution reviews required by the Marine Corps and/or higher headquarters.
- Collaborate with the program management team to prepare financial documentation, status reports, and briefs.
- Provide financial support and input to integrated product reviews, teams, and technical working groups.
- Assist with resolving financial reporting and compliance issues to ensure accurate interpretation and reporting.
- Contribute to annual budgeting tasks, developing documents, reports, and briefs.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on financial analysis issues.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree and at least 5 years of experience in DoD financial/cost analysis.
- Experience with Defense Agencies Initiative (DAI).
- Strong analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications, including Office and SharePoint.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- DAU Level I certification in business, cost estimating, and financial management.
- Experience with NHS Cerberus, WAWF, and SMARTS systems.
Clearance and Physical Requirements:
- Active TS/SCI security clearance.
- Sedentary work environment.
