What are the responsibilities and job description for the Program Manager position at ManTech?
ManTech seeks a highly skilled and knowledgeable Program Manager to manage a cyber program that includes a SOC, cyber intelligence, incident response, and engineering supporting for cyber resilient infrastructure. This role will be located at the client site in Huntsville, AL.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Responsible for the overall program success. Plans and manages the work and upholds values while promoting alignment, collaboration, and delivery across large numbers of cybersecurity and support teams.
- Ensures that staffing plan and team competencies meet mission detection, response, and support requirements.
- Defines project scope and objectives. Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports.
- Conducts project meetings and is responsible for project tracking and analysis. Ensures adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables.
- Manages the integration of vendor tasks and tracks and reviews vendor deliverables. Works closely with all teams to identify and document issues, create action items, organize and conduct meetings, and resolve issues.
- Responsible for managing the program’s financials to include budget, forecast, profitability, and provides weekly reporting.
- Responsible for identifying and implementing continuous improvements or enhancements to achieve cost savings, cost avoidance, or improvements to meet customer and mission goals.
Basic Qualifications:
- 10 years of IT experience
- 5 years of experience managing large cyber and SOC programs with a minimum of 70 FTEs
- 2 years of experience managing teams located in different geographic locations
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related discipline
- Hands-on experience using JIRA and Confluence
- Understanding of Agile methods such as Scrum
- Experience with tools such as ServiceNow, Splunk, CrowdStrike, and Wireshark
Preferred Qualifications:
- Active PMP Certification
- CISM certification
- CISSP certification
Security Clearance Requirements:
- Must have active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer
- The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
