The Manteo Community Health Center is searching for a Clinical Staff Nurse either as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN).
What you'll do:
- Obtain, verify, and record patient health histories.
- Perform physical assessments and collect biological samples.
- Collect specimens for lab analysis.
- Provide basic patient care as directed.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Assist healthcare professionals with exams, procedures, and minor medical tasks.
- Follow infection control, safety guidelines, and confidentiality policies.
- Document assessments, interventions, responses, and test results in patient records.
- Educate patients on wellness and communicate physician instructions.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- At least one year of LPN/RN experience; clinic experience preferred.
- Current state licensure as a nurse.
- Ability to initiate emergency procedures when necessary.
- Proficient in performing blood draws.
- Strong skills in calculating drug dosages.
What we offer:
- LPN hourly rate of $23.00 - $25.50 per hour
- RN hourly rate of $27.00 - $31.00 per hour
