General Purpose :
You will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction across the Construction arm of our operations (e.g. Mechanical, BMS, Lighting, Building Envelope / Roofing / Pavement, Project Coordination, Safety). This role will oversee operational planning, process optimization, and performance management to drive efficiency, productivity, and profitability. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in strategic planning, operations management, and leadership, with a proven track record of driving results in a complex and dynamic environment.
Strategic Planning and Execution
Develop and implement strategic initiatives to optimize operational performance, enhance efficiency, and support overall business objectives.Lead the development of operational plans, goals, and metrics aligned with the company's strategic vision and growth objectives.Process Optimization and Continuous Improvement
Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency enhancements through data analysis, benchmarking, and best practices.Implement efficient methodologies to streamline workflows, reduce waste, and drive continuous improvement throughout the organization.Cross-Functional Collaboration
Collaborate closely with senior leadership, including the CEO, CFO, and other executive leadership, to align operational strategies with overall business goals and priorities.Foster a culture of collaboration and teamwork across departments to ensure seamless integration and execution of operational initiatives.Revenue Responsibility and KPIs
Meet and exceed revenue targets for Construction and Project-based Operations.Engage in combined revenue forecasting and combined P&L responsibility with other VPs; including updating, tracking, and reporting on actuals.Develop and manage to key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational performance, track progress against goals, and drive accountability.Analyze operational data and performance metrics to identify trends, address challenges, and capitalize on opportunities for improvement.Talent Development and Leadership
Build and lead a high-performing operations team, providing coaching, mentorship, and professional development opportunities to drive growth and success.Cultivate a culture of innovation, excellence, and continuous learning within the operations team to foster employee engagement and retention.Risk Management and Compliance :
Identify and mitigate operational risks, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies.Implement robust systems and controls to safeguard company assets, optimize resource allocation, and minimize operational disruptions.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :
15 years of progressive leadership experience in operations management, with a focus on senior level project management and program level strategy.Experienced understanding of the 16 CSI Divisions of constructionBachelor's degree in business administration, operations management, project management, or construction management preferred.Demonstrated track record of driving operational excellence, process optimization, and continuous improvement in a complex organizational environment.Proven leadership and team-building capabilities, with a commitment to developing and empowering high-performing teams.COMPETENCIES
