Inside Sales / Customer Service Representative
We’re on the lookout for a motivated and customer-focused Inside Sales / Customer Service Representative to join our team! In this role, you’ll be responsible for delivering top-notch customer service, processing orders, providing product and service support. You’ll primarily be working with lumber yards and building supply companies, handling both standard and specialty orders. Experience in the building materials industry is a plus. Best of all, there's no cold calling – we already have a solid base of loyal wholesale customers!
Key Responsibilities :
- Handle incoming calls, process orders, and deliver quotes quickly and accurately
- Resolve customer inquiries and provide troubleshooting assistance
- Stay up-to-date on our products and services to offer the best support
- Drive new business by cross-selling, upselling, and utilizing promotional campaigns
- Collaborate with the Outside Sales Team and internal departments to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction
- Monday thru Friday (No weekends) 7 : 30am-4 : 00pm
- Experience in customer service
- Building materials knowledge or construction knowledge
- Strong computer skills (MS Office, Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a friendly and professional phone presence
- High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks
- Basic math skills for quoting and calculations
- Logistics and supply chain background is beneficial
- Associate’s Degree in Business or related field, or at least two years of relevant customer service experience
- Bilingual skills are a bonus
