Job Responsibilities:
- Assist experienced operators in setting up and operating press brake machines.
- Learn to interpret and follow blueprints and technical drawings.
- Measure, inspect, and verify parts against specifications using tools like tape measures, calipers, and gauges.
- Develop skills to adjust machine settings for different materials and specifications.
- Participate in quality checks to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Requirements:
- Strong Math Skills: Ability to perform basic math, fractions, and measurements with accuracy.
- Proficient in Measurement Reading: Able to read and understand a tape measure, down to 1/16-inch measurements or finer.
- Attention to Detail: Diligent and thorough in quality inspections and documentation.
- Reliability and Willingness to Learn: Punctual, responsible, and open to training and feedback.
- Physical Ability: Able to lift up to [specify weight, e.g., 50 lbs] and stand for extended periods.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus but not required.
- Familiarity with basic hand tools or machine operation.
