The ideal candidate will have experience using micrometers, excellent vision, and the ability to work with small components. As a Plastics Assembler , you will play a critical role in ensuring the assembly of high-quality plastic components in a fast-paced and supportive work environment. Responsibilities include but are not limited to :
- Assemble and inspect small plastic components to meet quality standards.
- Use micrometers and other precision measurement tools to ensure accurate assembly.
- Perform detailed visual inspections to identify any defects or inconsistencies.
- Follow written instructions, blueprints, or work orders to complete assembly tasks.
- Maintain detailed records of production activities and quality inspections.
- Apply shop math skills to calculate measurements and dimensions as needed.
- Work with small parts and ensure proper handling to prevent damage.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety and 5S protocols.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding production progress and challenges.
- Assist with other tasks as assigned by the supervisor to support the production team.
