What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Service Rep position at Manufacturing Inc?
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Overnight Customer Service Representative to handle incoming calls, take messages, check and log daily messages, enter on-call schedules, and perform light cleaning tasks. This is not a traditional customer service role calls are typically brief and can vary significantly. Once a month, you will also assist with mailing tasks, such as stamping envelopes.
Responsibilities Include but Are Not Limited To:- Answering phone calls, taking messages, and logging information accurately
- Checking and documenting messages from throughout the day
- Entering on-call schedules into the system
- Performing basic cleaning tasks during the shift
- Assisting with envelope stamping once a month
- Working independently for the entire shift without supervision
- Ability to type without looking at fingers (decent typing speed required)
- Strong multitasking skills and attention to detail
- Fluent in English (bilingual is a plus but not required)
- Basic spelling, reading, and computer proficiency
- Reliable transportation (no public transit available)
- Comfortable working alone for the full shift
- Must be dependable with a solid work history and strong attendance record
- Comfortable working in all weather conditions (position requires full commitment to schedule)
- Must be okay with dogs being around in the work environment
