We are seeking an experienced TIG Welder (1st shift) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for precision welding of metal components, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to project specifications. This position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to read blueprints, and proficiency in TIG welding techniques.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to :
- Perform TIG welding on various metals, including stainless steel and aluminum, following project specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols to ensure accuracy.
- Set up welding machines, select appropriate welding rods and filler materials, and adjust settings as needed.
- Inspect and measure completed workpieces to verify conformance to specifications.
- Maintain welding equipment and perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Work collaboratively with production teams to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
- Troubleshoot welding issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Keep a clean and organized work area in compliance with company standards.
