We are seeking experienced Welders (Brazers) to join our team. As a Welder, you will be responsible for joining metal parts together using various welding techniques, including brazing.
Responsibilities:
- Perform welding operations to join metal components using brazing techniques.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding specifications to determine the appropriate welding process.
- Set up and operate welding equipment, including gas torches, brazing rods, and other tools.
- Clean and prepare surfaces for welding by removing dirt, grease, and other contaminants.
- Ensure welds meet quality standards and specifications by inspecting finished products.
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Maintain welding equipment and tools in good working condition.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and according to specifications.
- Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Continuously improve welding techniques and skills through training and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Welder, with expertise in brazing techniques.
- Certification in welding preferred.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and welding specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality welds.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and guidelines for welding operations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
