CNC Machinist 1st Shift (6AM - 3PM, Monday to Friday) Competitive Pay & Growth Opportunities!
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The CNC Machinist will be responsible for operating CNC machining centers, setting up and adjusting conventional machines, and ensuring high-quality production of machined parts according to blueprints and specifications. This is a full-time, 1st shift position offering stability, competitive pay, and career growth in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To
Read and interpret blueprints, engineering instructions, and specifications to ensure accurate machining.
Set up, adjust, and operate CNC machining centers efficiently.
Work with manual machines, including Bridgeports, manual lathes, and surface grinders.
Select appropriate tools, machines, and materials for machining operations.
Secure fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials onto machines for production.
Machine parts per technical drawings using lathes, milling machines, and other machine tools.
Use precision measuring instruments to verify machined parts meet quality and dimensional standards.
Maintain records, documents, and in-process inspection data as required.
Work closely with supervisors and engineers to improve machining efficiency, fixturing, and programming.
Report any faulty or unusual conditions and ensure proper maintenance of tools and machines.
Clean and lubricate machines, tools, and equipment as part of preventative maintenance.
Adhere to all safety and housekeeping standards in the manufacturing facility.
Skills & Qualifications
2-5 years of machining experience in a manufacturing environment.
Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints proficiently.
Knowledge of G-code programming for CNC machines.
Experience converting 3D SolidWorks models via CAM package is a plus.
Ability to set up and operate CNC and manual lathes required.
Experience Working With CNC Milling Machines Is Required.
Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.
Regularly required to sit, stand, reach, bend, and move throughout the facility.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
