What are the responsibilities and job description for the PC Technician position at Manufacturing?
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level PC Technician to join our team. This is a 1st shift position with on-the-job training provided. The PC Technician will be responsible for working with various types of technology in our warehouse, troubleshooting and repairing computers, laptops, and other hardware. No experience required, will train.
Responsibilities Include
Testing, updating, troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing high volumes of hardware.
Removing/adding RAM.
Taking stock and inventory of hardware and parts.
Navigating the BIOS on all laptop and desktop computers.
Inventory control and quality control.
Providing documentation.
Other duties as assigned.
Skills/Qualifications
HS Diploma or GED required.
Basic understanding of computer components required.
Professional experience troubleshooting and repairing computers is a plus, but not required.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work in a team environment to meet requirements for production and quality.
Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions.
Ability to stay organized and desire to solve problems efficiently.
Knowledge of electronic parts understanding and sourcing.
Knowledge of All-In-One computers helpful.
Ability to lift up to 30-50 lbs.
