We are seeking a skilled and experienced Designer/Stitcher to join our dynamic design department. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the entire product lifecycle, from initial concept to final production, requiring a strong understanding of the product development process and excellent collaboration skills. The Designer/Stitcher will provide leadership and support within the design team to ensure alignment with company initiatives and goals.
Responsibilities Include
Develop concept sketches and translate them into solid models.
Stitch new designs and products from start to finish.
Coordinate the aesthetic and functional aspects of product lines.
Support the development and execution of product design strategies.
Develop and continuously improve design processes.
Present and explain design direction to stitchers on the production floor, as needed.
Communicate and collaborate with suppliers to develop product specifications, designs, and cost-saving projects.
