We are seeking a self-motivated and highly organized individual for a position that will assist in the Information Technology department at our Augusta BioFacility.

Responsibilities:
- Technical Support: Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, and network issues, including troubleshooting and resolving technical problems.
- System Maintenance: Assist with system updates, backups, and routine maintenance of IT systems and equipment.
- Hardware and Software Installation: Support the installation and configuration of hardware, peripherals, and software.
- Network Support: Assist in monitoring and maintaining the company's network systems, including LAN, WAN, and wireless connections.
- Documentation: Create and update technical documentation, including troubleshooting guides and user manuals.
- IT Asset Management: Help track IT equipment inventory and ensure proper tagging and recording of new equipment.
- Cybersecurity Support: Assist with implementing and monitoring security protocols to protect company data.
- Collaborative Projects: Participate in IT-related projects such as system migrations, software deployments, and infrastructure improvements.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Must be within one (1) year of graduating.
- Technical Skills: Basic understanding of operating systems, hardware, software applications, and networking concepts.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and learn quickly.
Preferred qualifications (optional):
- Familiarity with programming languages, database management, or cloud technologies.
- Experience with help desk tools or ticketing systems.
- Basic knowledge of cybersecurity principles.
