What are the responsibilities and job description for the Custodial Technician, MKV position at Maple Knoll Communities?
Maple Knoll Village, a continuing care retirement community, located in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a part-time 3 days per week, dedicated and reliable Custodial Technician to join our team. As a Custodial Technician, you will play a key role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our employees, clients, and visitors. This position requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The hours for this position are 730-330 Monday- Friday. The ideal candidate will have some flexibility to work weekends, and holidays as needed. The pay for this $15.50-$17.00 per hour. Pay is based on prior experience.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Clean and sanitize offices, restrooms, hallways, break rooms, and common areas
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust various areas of the building
- Empty trash bins and dispose of waste properly
- Replenish supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper
- Perform routine maintenance checks and report any issues (e.g., broken equipment, leaks)
- Ensure all areas are safe and accessible to staff and visitors
- Follow safety guidelines and ensure cleanliness meets company standards
Requirements:
- Previous custodial or janitorial experience preferred
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
- Excellent communication skills and positive attitude
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, if required
- Must have a valid driver's license.
