What are the responsibilities and job description for the LPN, Maple Knoll Village position at Maple Knoll Communities?
Maple Knoll Village, a continuing care retirement community, located in Springdale, Ohio is seeking a Part-time (two days per week) LPNs for day shift (7a-730p) in our Skilled Nursing facility. The payrate for this position is $35.00 per hour, there is also a $2.00 shift differential for shift differential starting at 7p. You will be required to work every other weekend and some holidays.
The primary purpose of your job is to provide nursing/patient care under the direction of the RN Supervisor to meet standards of accrediting and regulatory bodies, and professional standards of care. You administer all aspects of patient care including, but not limited to, nursing care, medications, treatments, and restorative care. You are responsible for requisitions and will arrange for diagnostic and therapeutic services, as ordered by the physician, and in accordance with established procedures.
Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Ensure the nurses' notes reflect the care plan is being followed when administering nursing care of treatment.
- Gathers resident information and data to be utilized by the RN in comprehensive assessments, MDS, and RAPS.
- Admits, transfers, and discharges residents according to established procedures.
- Provide high quality patient care and treatment.
- Educate and update patients and family members on medical treatments.
- Have a positive attitude and passion for working with the elderly.
- Must have an active LPN license for State of Ohio; or have an Active multi-state license
