What are the responsibilities and job description for the Experienced Toddler Learning Assistant position at Maple Leaf Childcare Center-Glenville/Burnt Hills?
Maple Leaf Childcare is a family run business serving the community since 1988. We are currently looking for a nurturing, committed and responsible Lead Toddler Teacher to educate and inspire children ages 18 months to 3 years old at our Burnt Hills location.
Responsibilities:
- Creating and implementing weekly lesson plans following the Creative Curriculum.
- Work as a team with Assistant Teachers to provide the best care possible for all children.
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organized classroom.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with parents on a daily basis.
- Change diapers, feed and care for a group of 10 toddlers ranging from 18 months to about 3 years.
Qualifications:
- Associates in Early Childhood Education or related field; CDA in Infant/Toddler
- Experience working with young children, preferably toddlers
OR
- Bachelors in Early Childhood Education or related field.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
