ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
1. Operate industrial sewing machines (e.g., single-needle, double-needle, overlock) to sew fabrics, leather, or other materials.
2. Assemble, join, reinforce, or finish products according to specifications or patterns.
3. Adjust machine settings for various fabric types and sewing techniques.
4. Read and interpret blueprints, patterns, or technical drawings.
5. Measure, cut, and align materials accurately before sewing.
6. Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality and design standards.
7. Identify and repair defects, reworking products as necessary.
8. Maintain a high level of precision in stitching, seams, and overall construction.
9. Perform routine maintenance on sewing machines, such as oiling and cleaning.
10. Report any machine malfunctions or repair needs to the maintenance team.
11. Assist production as needed.
12. Perform related duties as required.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
Requires basic knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems and operations, and communication skills with production staff. Previous experience operating industrial sewing machines is highly desirable.

Knowledge and skills identified are acquired through the completion of a high school education and previous warehouse and/or inventory control experience.
WORKING CLIMATE:
Position regularly requires standing, bending, reaching and moving about the warehouse facility. May be exposed to shop elements such as noise, dust, down, and feathers.
