What are the responsibilities and job description for the Summer Camp Junior Counselor position at Maplewood Country Day Camp?
A Junior Counselor is responsible for interacting with and supervising campers, as well as assisting in the execution of their daily activities. We are seeking positive role models who possess strong leadership and communication skills. The ideal candidate for this position enjoys working with children, loves the outdoors, and is eager to make a positive impact on the campers.
We look for candidates who are patient, fair, playful, and compassionate, with excellent listening skills and a strong willingness to work hard.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a role model for campers.
- Be highly effective in leading groups for activities and projects.
- Work with children of all ages.
- Be physically capable of participating in camp activities.
- Participate in activities.

- 8 hour shift
