ERP System Analyst

```Job Overview:```
This role will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and enhancing our ERP system to meet current business needs while proactively researching and implementing emerging ERP technologies. The ERP Systems Analyst will work closely with internal stakeholders and external resources to analyze business processes, design system enhancements, and implement solutions that increase productivity and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

1. ERP System Management & Support:

o Maintain and troubleshoot the ERP system, ensuring reliability and optimal performance.

o Provide day-to-day support and training to users, assisting with any ERP-related issues and requests.

o Monitor system performance and work closely with IT infrastructure teams to ensure the ERP system runs efficiently.

o Work with ERP system and other vendors to resolve issues, developing workarounds when necessary.

o Support EDI (with help from EDI outside vendor)

2. Business Process Analysis & Improvement:

o Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to understand business needs and challenges.

o Analyze current processes and recommend modifications to optimize workflow, minimize errors, and reduce redundancy.

o Document requirements and design specifications for system changes.

3. ERP System Upgrades and Implementation:

o Plan and execute ERP system upgrades, patches, and other updates to stay current with the latest ERP offerings.

o Ensure minimal disruption to business operations during upgrades by coordinating testing and training sessions.

4. Future Technology Integration:

o Research and identify new technologies and enhancements that align with the company’s strategic goals.

o Lead initiatives to implement new ERP functionalities, such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, and advanced data analytics.

o Develop and maintain relationships with ERP vendors to stay informed of emerging technologies and best practices.

5. Reporting and Data Analytics:

o Build and maintain custom reports, dashboards, and data extracts to support business decisions.

o Develop, document, and enforce data quality standards, working with departments to improve data accuracy and completeness.

o Implement analytics tools within the ERP system to provide insights on trends and KPIs.

6. Project Management:

o Manage ERP projects from initiation to completion, including planning, budgeting, and resource allocation.

o Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to meet project milestones and ensure successful implementations

Required Education/Experience/Skills

· In-depth knowledge of one or more ERP or similar systems

· 5 years of experience in IT business systems positions

· 4-year degree or equivalent work experience

· Good verbal and written communication skills

· Ability to handle and prioritize multiple simultaneous responsibilities

· Strong problem solving/analytical skills

· Custom report creation

· Ability to work independently

Preferred Experience/Skills

· Manufacturing environment experience

· Familiarity with all areas of business operations (accounting, sales, customer service, shipping, etc.)

· Label Matrix experience

· Crystal Reports writing

· SQL query writing

· EDI implementation/support

· IQMS EnterpriseIQ familiarity

· Windows PC

Other Details

· Work hours: Full time, 8AM to 5PM Monday through Friday typically, off-hours and weekend work when necessary

· Work environment: Work will be primarily in an office environment but will require visiting/working in manufacturing plant(s) at times.

· Travel: Position will require travel to other facilities, approximately 15%
