This is a key role in producing high-quality designs for a range of civil engineering projects, with a focus on site development, stormwater management, utilities, and grading. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in CAD design, particularly using AutoCAD/Civil 3D, and will work closely with engineers and project managers to ensure precise and timely project delivery.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and revise CAD drawings, including site plans, grading plans, utility layouts, and stormwater management designs.
- Work closely with engineers and project managers to ensure the alignment of CAD drawings with design intent and project requirements.
- Perform routine calculations and data analysis for preparing drawings, including site layout and utility designs.
- Convert rough sketches and design notes into accurate CAD drawings, ensuring they meet company standards and project specifications
- Review design documents for accuracy and completeness, making corrections as needed.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to troubleshoot and resolve design issues during the drafting process.
- Ensure compliance with applicable standards, codes, and regulatory requirements in the preparation of drawings.
- Manage and deliver completed drawings and sets within project timelines and quality standards.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Associate’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Aided Drafting, Civil Engineering Technology, or related field.
- 4 years of relevant experience in CAD drafting, preferably with civil engineering, site development, or infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D
- Strong knowledge of drafting and design principles, including civil engineering terminology and standards.
- Ability to interpret engineering sketches and designs, transforming them into high-quality CAD drawings.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge of stormwater management, grading, and utilities design is a plus.
