Essential Functions:
- Help lead the Marathon Nursing clinical program, ensuring our patients receive exceptional care and the best patient experience in the market.
- Visit patients in the home to complete patient assessments and supervise nursing staff, ensuring compliance, patient safety, and quality of care.
- Develop the plan of treatment, coordinate care, and complete pediatric assessments or OASIS documentation as required.
- Supervise and support all clinical staff, completing assigned orientations, coaching, supervisions, and evaluations per company policy.
- Participate in functions related to the recruiting, hiring, and onboarding processes, including facilitating new hire orientations, trainings, and in-services.
- Participate in providing education to nursing students as needed during clinical rotations or preceptorships.
Requirements:
- Current, unrestricted, and unencumbered state license as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Massachusetts
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
- A minimum of 1 year of RN experience required, and at least six months of experience in Home Care/Private Duty Nursing.
- Previous experience caring for medically complex pediatric patients, whether in a homecare, medical surgical, or critical care setting.
- Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or meet exemption requirements.
- Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state and organization requirements, or have access to other reliable means of transportation.
- Strong interpersonal skills that facilitate the building of long-lasting and meaningful relationships with our patients/families, clinicians, providers, and vendors.
- OASIS training is preferred.
- Dynamic problem solver who enjoys working collaboratively and in team environments
- Flexibility to work outside of regular business hours as needed.
- Must participate in clinical on-call rotations.
