Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Helpdesk Support professional to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, and software. This role requires effective communication skills and the ability to troubleshoot various technical issues across multiple platforms. The Helpdesk Support specialist will assist users in resolving issues related to VPN connections, desktop support, and service management tools such as ServiceNow and Jira.
Responsibilities
- Provide first-level technical support for hardware and software issues.
- Assist users with desktop support tasks, including installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer systems.
- Communicate effectively with users to understand their technical problems and provide clear instructions for resolution.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to escalate complex issues as needed.
Skills
- Proficiency in Windows operating systems.
- Strong understanding of computer hardware components and troubleshooting techniques.
- Experience with VPN configurations and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with IT service management tools.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Previous experience in technical support or helpdesk roles is preferred.
