Role Summary: We are seeking an experienced Compliance and Regulatory Affairs Professional to join our team at Marathon Petroleum Corporation (MPC). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental regulations, with experience in leading and supporting the development, implementation, and monitoring of programs and policies to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations.
The successful candidate will lead and support the development, implementation, and monitoring of environmental compliance programs, ensure assigned environmental compliance programs are in conformance with regulatory requirements and company policies, and provide regulatory compliance assistance to other departments within the refinery.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop, implement, and monitor environmental compliance programs.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations.
- Provide training and guidance to employees on environmental regulations and compliance procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address environmental compliance issues.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or related natural or environmental science.
- At least 2 years of environmental experience in a refinery, petro-chemical or other related heavy industry.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to influence others.
- Proficient in Microsoft: Word, Excel, and Outlook.
