As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will support physical therapists in delivering high-quality patient care, helping to implement treatment plans and assist in the rehabilitation process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans under the direction of the Physical Therapist.
- Help patients with exercises and therapeutic activities to improve mobility and function.
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and progress notes.
- Ensure smooth daily operations and assist with clinic management.
- Uphold HIPAA compliance and adhere to clinic policies and procedures.
- Degree in Physical Therapy Assisting from an accredited program.
- Current Massachusetts PTA license and CPR certification.
- Familiarity with EMR systems and basic clinical procedures.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks.
- Compassionate and customer-focused with a commitment to patient care.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds, with frequent movement and manual dexterity.
