Outside Sales Representative

Job Summary:

You will be responsible for calling on various customers or potential customers with the intention of establishing and building relationships, providing product knowledge, samples (heavy) and procuring sales of our products. This is a great position for a newer sales professional looking to grow with an excellent company well established in the industry.

Job Requirements:

• College degree preferred
• Driver’s License
• Marketing, sales or hospitality experience
• This position requires extensive travel throughout the Buffalo, NY territory as well as periodic heavy lifting.

Minimum Requirements:

Education: A college degree is preferred but not required

Experience: Sales or hospitality experience

Preferred Skills/Qualifications: Prior outside sales experience is preferred. Business to business sales experience is desired but not necessary. Good judgment and analytical skills a must. Outstanding interpersonal skills is required.

Working Conditions:

This position requires extensive travel within the sales territory. It also requires some lifting and sample distribution. This position would also require the attendance at various functions and trade shows for networking purposes.

Training expectations: During the first few weeks this position will require training on company systems, procedures and product details at our Westwood, MA headquarters as well as training in our Albany, NY office.

Bonus/commission earnings will be based on an agreed upon bonus structure.

Potential company vehicle will be based upon financial calculation vs. the cost of reimbursement of mileage - this is tracked and evaluated by our accounting office
