Job Overview
We are looking for a hard-working and enthusiastic employee to join our team. This role requires someone with experience in food handling such as baking cookies, cake designing and ice-cream making. The ideal candidate should be comfortable assisting with making cake and decorating it as per customer's needs and preparing cookies and designing it as per customer needs. Additionally, you should be comfortable engaging with customers to serve ice-cream, shakes, sundaes etc. and perform cashier related duties.
Responsibilities
- Primary role is to prepare various cookies, and design cakes and assist in preparation for the same.
- Assist in online order preparation, sorting and serving customer's for pick-up
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers and assisting them with their inquiries.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently, processing transactions accurately.
- Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when answering customer calls or inquiries.
- Collaborate with team members to create a friendly and welcoming store environment.
- Other duties to ensure the overall health and success of the business
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse customers.
- Experience in Cake, Ice-cream shops is highly preferred.
- Food handling certificate is preferred.
- Proficiency in using POS systems and handling cash transactions accurately.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage with customers effectively.
- Assist in store cleanliness and proper layouts for store presentation
