On-Air and Production Assistant- MARC Radio Dallas KGGR-AM/FM
Job Summary:
MARC Radio Dallas is looking for a part-time On-Air and Production Assistant to support our Black Gospel & Teaching Station in North Texas
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Assist with on-air production, including writing and producing commercial copy
- Fill in for on-air talent as needed, providing engaging and informative content
- Participate in live broadcasts and on-site remotes
- Edit audio content using industry-standard software
- Assist with the creation of station imaging and promotional spots
- Help prepare and organize music libraries
- Assist with administrative tasks, such as scheduling, filing, and data entry
- Maintain a clean and organized studio environment
- Other duties as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Passion for radio and a strong understanding of the industry
- Excellent communication and writing skills
- Proficiency in audio editing software (e.g., Adobe Audition)
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends
Education and Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of standing and sitting at a computer
Other Requirements:
- Possess a valid drivers license and reliable transportation
- Ability to successfully complete pre-employment screenings
- Monday to Friday schedule
Job Type:
- Part-Time
- 25-30 hours/week
Pay:
- $10-$12/hour
