Traffic Coordinator Part Time- MARC Radio Dallas KGGR-AM/FM

Job Summary:

MARC Radio Dallas is looking for a part-time traffic coordinator to support our Black Gospel & Teaching Station in North Texas

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain accurate daily, weekly, and monthly broadcast schedules
• Coordinate with the sales team to input and schedule new commercials and promotional spots
• Ensure timely and accurate input of all commercial and promotional copy
• Maintain detailed and accurate logs of all on-air content, including commercials, promos, and programming
• Prepare and submit required logs to regulatory agencies
• Manage commercial rotations to ensure compliance with contracts and station policies
• Monitor commercial inventor to optimize revenue and minimize oversells
• Utilize traffic software to input, schedule, and generate reports
• Troubleshoot technical issues related to commercial playback and scheduling
• Communicate effectively with the GSM, Media Advisors, and agencies to address questions and concerns
• Provide timely updates on commercial airings and performance metrics
• Work closely with the sales, programming, and promotion teams to ensure smooth operations
• Other duties as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Proven experience in radio traffic management or a related field
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Proficiency in traffic software (e.g. Marketron, RCS)
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of FCC regulations and industry standards
• Knowledge of radio automation systems a plus

Education and Experience:

• Three (3) years of sales experience in Radio traffic or related field preferred

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of standing and sitting at a computer

Other Requirements:

• Possess a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and an acceptable driving record as outlined by company’s insurance provider.
• Ability to successfully complete pre-employment screenings.
• Monday to Friday schedule

Job Type:

• Part-Time
• 20-25 hours/week
• Remote work will be considered for local candidates. Will be required to be in office for training and an occasional in person meeting

Pay:

• $10-$15/hr
