What are the responsibilities and job description for the Evening Tow Truck Driver position at Marc's Auto Service?
We are excited to announce that we are once again hiring for evening tow truck operators! If you’re interested in joining our team, please come in person to our main facility to apply.
Job Details:
- Position: Evening Tow Truck Operator
- Shifts: 3 PM - 11 PM (Hourly or Commision available)
- Wednesday / Thursday / Friday / Saturday Evenings
- On-Call Overnight: Drivers working overnight on call are paid on a commission basis please ask by phone or in person for further information.
- Location Consideration: We are particularly interested in drivers located near our coverage area, which includes Middleboro, Carver, Wareham, Rochester, Marion, Bourne, Sagamore, Pocasset, Mashpee, and Falmouth.
Training Information:
- New Drivers: If you have no prior experience, you will need to complete at least two weeks of training on day shifts (7 AM - 4 PM).
- Experienced Drivers: You will also need to come in for day shifts to assess your current knowledge and skills before going solo.

Requirements:
Valid driver’s license
Experience in towing preferred (but not required)
DOT Health card
Reliable transportation to and from work
Pay will be based off of experience and Relevant certifications in the tow industry
IE: Statewide Certificate, Hazwoper, TIM's, Wreckmaster, OSHA (MUST HAVE VALID ID)
Pay is hourly when on shift on call time is a commission basis, any after hour recovery work where multiple drivers are on scene (If able and accredited to do recovery)
Responsibilities:
Operate tow trucks or rollbacks to transport vehicles
Provide roadside assistance and towing services
Ensure safety and compliance with regulations
Yard and truck Maintenace as needed
