We’re looking for a friendly and organized Sales Assistant (Customer Service) to be the first point of contact for our valued clients and assist in showroom sales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist showroom visitors with a warm, professional attitude, ensuring they feel valued from the moment they arrive.
- Help customers explore flooring options, guiding them through our selection and providing basic information on the differences between materials like vinyl, laminate, hardwood, and tile.
- Manage phone communications by answering calls, addressing inquiries, and directing messages to the appropriate team members.
- Schedule and coordinate appointments for estimates with potential clients using computer-based scheduling tools.
- Effectively use computer programs to organize, track, and update scheduled estimates, ensuring smooth communication with the sales and installation teams.
- Notify and communicate with team members when estimates are scheduled, providing necessary details to keep operations running efficiently.
- Maintain an organized and presentable reception area to reflect the high standards of our brand.
- Support sales and showroom operations by assisting the Sales Manager in delivering a seamless customer experience.
- Handle general administrative tasks to keep daily operations running smoothly.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience (retail, hospitality, or administrative roles preferred).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A friendly and professional demeanor with a customer-first mindset.
- Ability to learn and explain the differences between various flooring materials.
- Preferred: Experience in construction, remodeling, or home improvement sales.
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using computer programs for scheduling, email, and internal communication.
- Prior experience with scheduling software or CRM systems is a plus.
