Job description
We are looking for a Paralegal Assistant to join our team and provide administrative support to our legal team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing research, preparing legal documents, maintaining case files, and providing general administrative support. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, the ability to multitask and prioritize, and a strong attention to detail.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Process and input new client matters and documentation into the Firm's case management system
Prepare routine engagement letters and manage their distribution
Request, follow up and obtain medical records/bills related to client treatment
Verify, confirm, and document account balances with medical personnel
Prepare and maintain both hard-copy and electronic files, ensuring their accuracy and completeness
Copy, scan, and organize case documentation for paralegal files
Perform clerical and administrative tasks such as word processing, filing, copying, and scanning, ensuring their accuracy and timeliness
