Responsibilities
- Plan routes for trash haulers to service customer locations in a safe and efficient manner
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email with professionalism and courtesy, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
- Analyze customer needs and provide appropriate solutions or escalate issues as necessary.
- Coordinate with supply chain teams to ensure timely service.
- Assist in transportation management, including dispatching and fleet management tasks.
- Utilize GPS technology and software systems to track drivers and provide updates to customers.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions in the company database.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve customer issues efficiently.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably within the logistics or transportation industry.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on effective phone etiquette.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions based on customer needs.
- Familiarity with supply chain processes, shipping, receiving, dispatching, and fleet management is highly desirable.
- Experience using GPS systems and Oracle Transportation Management software is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing customer concerns.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
