Marcus Hotels & Resorts, the leading hotel ownership and management company in Milwaukee, is seeking an Area Account Executive to drive business for three of the city's most iconic properties :
Hilton Milwaukee - A premier convention headquarters hotel
The Pfister Hotel - A recently renovated, historic luxury hotel
Saint Kate - The Arts Hotel - A vibrant, creative hub for the arts and events
With a total of 1,255 guest rooms and over 60,000 square feet of meeting and event space, this role offers the opportunity to secure high-value business, cultivate lasting client relationships, and contribute to the continued success of these landmark hotels.
What You Will Do
Develop and manage key client relationships, focusing on National Associations, Government, and Citywide Conventions
Identify new business opportunities and drive revenue through strategic sales efforts
Represent our hotels with professionalism, confidence, and enthusiasm
Collaborate with internal teams to create seamless event experiences for clients
What You Will Bring
A motivated, confident, and engaging sales approach
Previous hospitality sales experience
Strong communication and negotiation skills with a track record of closing deals
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and prioritize effectively
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and industry sales systems
Willingness to travel 8-12 times per year and conduct regular local sales calls
